Having breakfast at only one set time and, although the meal was ok, would be nice to have a choice, or at least to be asked the night before if we liked what was going to be served. No TV in rooms.

The house on the inside was nice. Couple friendly
Grounds were not kept up. Food was marginal. Check in was 3 - 5 and no one was there when we got there at 4:00. Called and they were on there way back from the store. My suggestion also is to find out if guests have any food allergies at check in.

The unique design and decoration of the Inn itself. Leo and Joyce are excellent owners of the Inn. They were very friendly, but did not over step their boundaries. Their breakfast was also excellent. All the ingredients were fresh and the dishes made from scratch. I would definitely recommend it to a friend and will be looking to them in the future when I return to Colorado, Springs.
No television in the rooms and need fluffier pillows for those who don't like flatter type pillows.

The B&B has a family feel. I especially enjoyed the wonderful breakfast that I shared at a large table with the hosts and other guests. There was plenty of interesting conversation. I also enjoyed sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair and relaxing with a cup of coffee. The location is ideal. We could walk to shops in Old Colorado. It is close to many of the attractions (Garden of the Gods, etc.) I would recommend this B&B as a pleasant alternative to a hotel/motel.
No air conditioning. This is a problem when the temperature is unseasonably warm.

The Spurs n Lace Inn was great. Close to historical sites in Colorado Springs. Good breakfast. Great hosts. We all had breakfast at 8 and we were able to meet the other guests.
The mattress was very hard and we like a hard mattress but it was almost too hard. Pillows could have been better. Shower had a small shower head that did not put out much water. No TV's in rooms. We hooked up to internet and watched our movies off the laptop with Netflix. That worked pretty well. Breakfast lasted an hour to 1 1/2 hours. We had to adjust our plans to work around that late start. We hated to get up to leave and be rude. Met several couples. Hosts were very gracious and welcoming.

The hosts were very accomodating, pleasant, and friendly. We enjoyed the stories and visiting at breakfast. Nice quaint home and very comfortable. Great price and walking distance to good restaurants and shopping. We would recommend to friends and hope to stay here again.
This is not a complaint, just a suggestion to put a couple hooks in the bathroom in the Durango Room to hang clothes on while showering etc.

The rooms were very nice, with private bathrooms and A/C. The innkeepers were the best part of the stay. Very friendly, engaging and accommodating. My wife and I will be returning!

Perfect place for adults to relax. Very friendly hosts, they made the stay unforgatable. A place to go if you like to stay in a western/country style B&B. Breakfast together with other Guests and the hosts was like having breakfast with a 'big family'. I felt very comfortable , and I will defently come back next year again!
No place to go with kids, when they are addicted to TV or Radio, since there is none to choose.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful and mellow. Leo and Joyce both had a great sense of humor and I enjoyed having them join us for breakfast.
The coffee wasn't ready early and it could have been a better tasting coffee. The english couple drank pg tips tea at home. I have since tried it and it would be nice to add it to the selection of tea.

The hosts, Leo and Joyce were very friendly and had a binder of local attractions and other things to see,do, restaurants, etc. At this b&b the hosts sit down and eat breakfast with you, which we found enjoyable - especially when former school teacher Leo would pull out his book of funny emailed stories and read one aloud to all the guests at the table. It made for good commaraderie. The food was gourmet egg dishes and served with fresh fruit and a bread/muffin like item too. The rates were lower than other B&Bs around there, and yet our room had a fantastic tub large enough for two adults, the room decor was lovely, we had an air conditioner unit, and the bed comfortable. We had such a nice time, and LEo gave my husband a tour of the rest of the rooms before we left - so now we have ideas on which room to stay in should we come back to the area for another vacation. :-)
Hmmmm.... That is hard to say. The only thing I can think of is that the back porch was flaking paint pretty badly, and when I first arrived I thought that maybe the inside wouldn't be well maintained either. But that wasn't the case, the inside is beautiful and they have some really nice stained glass windows, too.

The Inn is lovely and the couple who run the Inn are friendly and warm- they made us feel right at home. Our room was beautifully decorated, very cozy, clean and bright. The breakfast was homemade and gourmet. We were very comfortable. We only stayed one night and wished we had planned to stay longer. We do plan to return and stay there for a few nights.
